If WhatsApp won’t connect on the network you’re on, or messages arrive but calls never ring, connect Bebra VPN to one of 187 countries and the app goes online through it. Chats and media usually get through that way. Calls may still fail, and we can’t promise them.
Choosing a country
Install Bebra VPN on the phone or computer where you use WhatsApp. There are apps for iPhone, Android, Windows, macOS and Linux, all on the download page. On first launch you’re signed in to a fresh guest account, with no form to fill in.
For chats, the country hardly matters. For calls, delay does, and delay grows with distance. When you call your parents in Spain, connect to Spain or a neighbouring country rather than somewhere on another continent.
The Search tile finds a country by name. Tap its tile once to connect and again to disconnect. On a new account with no subscription, that first tap opens the Buy Bebra VPN sheet instead.
What changes with Bebra VPN on
| Messages, photos, voice notes | Use the chosen country, like all other traffic on the device. |
| Voice and video calls | May fail to connect even while chats work. Trying a different country sometimes helps. |
| The desktop app (Windows, macOS) and web.whatsapp.com in any browser | Go through Bebra VPN once it’s installed on that computer. No extension needed. |

WhatsApp questions
No country gets my calls through
Write to us through the Support tile on the main screen and list the countries you tried. The chat is staffed around the clock.
Do I need to verify my number again?
No. Your number, chats and settings stay as they are. WhatsApp just goes online through Bebra VPN.
Does it work with WhatsApp Business?
Yes. Bebra VPN covers every app on the phone, so WhatsApp Business takes the same route as the regular app.
