TVING and the AI country lists

TVING

TVING carries tvN and Mnet shows, films and foreign series, and the first note in its Korean App Store listing limits all of it to the Republic of Korea. Away from Korea you need a Korean IP to watch. Bebra gives you one, though TVING may still recognise it as a data-centre address, as streaming services often do, and ask you to turn the VPN off.

OpenAI and Anthropic

Both companies list South Korea among the countries they support (checked 26 October 2026).

Identity checks. Korean banking apps and government sites usually ask for 본인인증, a check through the PASS app or an SMS code to a Korean number in your own name. Naver, Kakao and Toss certificates need a Korean number too. Your IP address plays no part in it.

Finding the Korea tile

The English app labels the tile Korea, so typing “Kor” in Search brings it up at once, ready to tap.

TVING and Wavve abroad

Will TVING work on my Apple TV abroad?

Yes, as long as TVING accepts Bebra’s address. TVING’s Korean App Store listing includes Apple TV. Install Bebra on the Apple TV from the App Store, sign in with a one-time code from your phone (Account → Sign in on another device) and connect to Korea. Apple TV won’t accept a guest account’s code, so link an e-mail on the phone first (Account → Link e-mail).

I live in Korea and I’m going to Europe for a month. Will Wavve work?

Not on its own. Wavve’s App Store listing allows Korean residents short trips only, up to 7 days and only in seven Southeast Asian countries. Europe falls outside that rule, so you’ll need a Korean address, with the same data-centre caveat as TVING.
